What's the point of having the same flagship phone as other people in different countries when
we receive the updates at different times NO USE whatsoever I'm still stuck on One UI 6.0 on Samsung S21 Ultra 5G meanwhile other S21 Ultras in different countries have received the update . Can samsung just implement their updates like IOS released the same software update at the same time for all their phones instead of releasing an update and your phone only gets it 1-3 months later. Might as well just go to IOS at this point

It is because of Android OS. Since Android comes from Google and not directly from Samsung.

This is a battle we will not win, South African market is a cash cow for Samsung. We are last on everything

Samsung relies on Google for timely updates, and it has a diverse range of devices compared to Apple. The software optimizations required for these devices, each with varying chipsets, can be time-consuming. Consequently, Samsung updates tend to take longer.

A parent with three children of the same age requires less time to prepare and serve dinner compared to a parent with twenty-five children of varying ages.

They can't since they have more devices than Apple. Now since they have multiple devices they release in waves, in contrast to Apple having fewer devices so they can release the updates in one go.

You need to remember that Samsung also makes phones specifically for mobile carriers/ service providers as well as for specific regions (Galaxy F, M and so on as opposed to the A and S being more widely known)

Here's an example: When the 6.1 came out for the S23 series the update servers were hanging because they tried sending the update to more countries than usual which meant more users would've tried to update their phones. It got to the point that people were getting server error messages and had to wait for that initial weekend wave to die down and try again during the week.

Another thing to note is another reason why updates take longer is because the mobile operators need to test and install their apps before it goes out so that's an additional period of time.

So if you want to go to iOS go and enjoy your iDevice. Otherwise import a Samsung device straight from South Korea since the hometown will always be the first to receive updates.
