I'm not sure if most Samsung S24 Ultra users or the entire line of this generation currently use or even need 'Now Brief.' As a feature it's great its future might even be greater but let's be honest outside of S25 line up or the current Z series it's subpar. Someone would say I'm telling half the truth. Samsung included it in it's update of one ui 8.0 but it's not ( not whole suite thats being offered to others )
I have my reasons to say this you will find it by end of this article. So for starters you can see it in the above image what permissions it requires and based on what you approve, what it could eventually offers but no ( big no ), generally what happens at least to me is that it only shows about my health ( how much I walked, or slept or what's my energy score ), a bit of weather or sometimes reminders with ever present Spotify and youtube. Except for these nothing and I mean it never saw my photos or daily commute or pulled a important date from my calendar like anniversary or someone's birthday.
As you can see in it there is a vast difference of what I have approved and what's being offered. It also privacy concerns, having so much permissions for content ( even after clicking upon ' process the data on device '), no one really knows what is it doing with it, or where it will end up on if you haven't clicked on device processing.
So there is complete difference what's being offered against what they are demanding. So Samsung it's a heart felt request please correct the workings of 'Now Brief' and it can be greater if it actually works as you say. You just released 'nano banana' integration with it so what's the purpose, if someone can't even use basic features. I have never seen my gallery photos being or it says what i clicked for the day or any story or my Playlist ( that I want to play ) rather than just random songs.
That's why I'm saying it can be better and I will look forward to it.
