I use S24, I do not see option to turn off a perticular type of notification for any app instead it is directly blocking all notifications. This is pathetic. Please provide option to block notifications with type, do not block all in one go.

Your Samsung S24 does allow you to disable specific notification types, but the feature is turned off by default in One UI 6.1. Once you enable the setting, you can customize the notifications for each app by category.

Enable notification categories

Open your phone's Settings.

Tap Notifications.

Tap Advanced settings.

Toggle on Manage notification categories for each app.

Customize notifications by category

Once you have enabled the feature, you can access the category settings in two ways:

Option 1: Through App Notifications

Go to Settings > Notifications > App notifications.

Select the app you want to customize.

Tap Notification categories.

Option 2: Through the Apps menu

Go to Settings > Apps.

Tap the app you want to customize.

Tap Notifications.

Tap Notification categories.

Adjust specific categories

In the Notification categories menu for a selected app, you will see a list of all its notification types.

You can toggle the switch next to each category to turn it on or off individually.
