Galaxy S1. Security Concerns
Reason: SSD codes can provide direct access to sensitive system-level functions, including debugging and log management. If misused, they could compromise the device's security or cause system instability.
Outcome: To prevent unauthorized access or accidental misuse by users, Samsung has disabled many such codes.
2. Software Simplification
Reason: Samsung is focusing on a more user-friendly experience by integrating diagnostic and maintenance tools directly into the user interface, such as the Device Care feature in settings.
Outcome: Many functions that were previously accessed via SSD codes are now accessible through menus and apps like Samsung Members.
3. Compliance with Regulations
Reason: Some regions have strict regulations regarding system access and debugging tools. Keeping SSD codes enabled could potentially violate these rules.
Outcome: Disabling codes ensures compliance and avoids potential legal issues.
4. Decreased Relevance of Codes
Reason: Modern devices are much more stable and less prone to the issues that SSD codes were originally designed to address, such as clearing logs or toggling debug settings.
Outcome: Functions like log dumps are now handled automatically by the system or during authorized service visits.
5. Encouraging Official Repairs
Reason: By limiting advanced system access, Samsung ensures users visit authorized service centers for issues rather than trying potentially harmful DIY fixes.
Outcome: It helps maintain device integrity and ensures expert repairs.
Alternatives:
If you're looking to access the functionality previously offered by SSD codes,
Use the Device Care feature.
Enter Recovery Mode for cache cleaning.
Use the Samsung Members app for diagnostics.
Enable Developer Options for debugging-related needs.
Let me know if you'd like guidance on any of these!

Galaxy S1. Alternative Way to Force 5G Mode
Samsung devices often restrict access to the testing menu directly, but you can use the following steps:
Using Network Settings in Developer Options
1. Enable Developer Options:
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information.
Tap Build Number 7 times to unlock Developer Options.
Go back to Settings > Developer Options.
2. Set Preferred Network Type:
In Developer Options, look for Mobile Networking or Network Mode settings.
Choose 5G only or NR (5G) preferred.
2. Use Third-Party Apps
If the built-in options don’t work, you can use apps like Force LTE Only (4G/5G) from the Play Store:
1. Download and install the app.
2. Open the app, grant permissions, and go to Set Preferred Network Type.
3. Select NR Only or LTE/NR.
3. Manually Adjust Network Settings
3. Another solution:
1.Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks.
2.Select Network Mode and set it to 5G/NR Only.
If these methods still don’t resolve the issue, let me know for additional troubleshooting!
