I feel that since the update to One UI version: 6.1 • Android version: 14
The seems to be a massive drainage of battery power on my Samsung S23 ultra

How long has it been since you upgraded? And does the issie happen when you use the phone or when it's idle?

It happens when my phone idles, I have checked performance settings, and background apps are restricted. I updated my software about 5 days ago

There are rising complaints about the battery and charging after the update, hopefully Samsung resolves it with future updates

My battery life actually improved. Been on 6.1 for about a week now. Check your background apps running. Also, turning off NFC when not used goes a long way. Or allowing apps to only use location when in use. In addition, take into consideration that internet provision in South Africa is under immense strain due to the cable breaks. The more a phone struggles to get internet access, the faster the battery runs down. Are you using an original Samsung charging block and cable?

Yes, I am using the original cable and charging block. I would charge my phone usually in the morning and only at night, and my watch would be connected to my device, and the charge was sufficient for the day. I now had to turn my Bluetooth off because midday my battery would be on 50% if I kept my watch connected.
