Many smartphone brands like Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi (Mi/Redmi) provide a built-in network speed indicator that shows real-time internet speed directly in the status bar or notification panel.
This feature is extremely useful for:
Monitoring real-time internet performance
Identifying slow networks instantly
Avoiding third-party apps that consume battery and show ads
However, Samsung One UI currently does not offer this feature natively, even though Samsung devices are known for powerful hardware and rich software customization.
We kindly request Samsung to consider adding a system-level Network Speed Indicator option in:
Settings → Notifications / Status Bar → Network Speed
This small addition would greatly enhance user experience and bring Samsung on par with other Android brands.
Hope the Samsung team considers this request in future One UI updates.
