Netflix playback quality issue

The playback quality keeps reverting to SD on my S23 Ultra and the widevine version is shown as L3. The issue gets resolved if I uninstall and reinstall the app, post which the playback quality becomes Full HD and widevine version as L1. 

Is there a permanent fix for this issue??

Settings -> Security and privacy -> Google play system updates and then search for update install and restart. It will again revert back to Widevine L1. This works every time. If your google play systems is updated to the latest version, then you need to do factory reset of your device.

I am looking for a solution that is one time...why should the app revert to SD everytime.

You can ask to samsung customer support, if still you're in trouble.

Sorry, can't do this...you guys are the manufacturers and should be able to solve for these issues without asking users for all this effort / log file etc. I am pretty sure I am not the only one suffering from this issue and that this is a generic problem with Samsung... I had this in S10 plus too. Find a cure without assuming that one user is an isolated sufferer of this problem.

Did you find any solution for the same? I am facing same issue with S23 FE. Not able to watch full HD in widevine L1.

No solution till now. cs_member10 / Samsung have conveniently washed their hands off by putting the onus on me for a cumbersome process. They are not willing to look into the issue even though it is a wider Samsung issue rather than a particular user issue.

Keep on uninstalling and reinstalling the app.... Even then sometimes the issue does not get resolved.

Exactly.. I have tried reporting the issue as well with all logs and screenshots. They don't even reply with solution. They Just inform our team is looking into the matter nd nothing after that. In only S series good problem exist which is bad because it is flagship series. I never faced such issue with my Samsung M51.
