My fingerprint sensor of S23 is not working since I put tempered glass on it

Remove the tempered glass it will start working again.

And for s22 ultra, it's depend how you are handling your phone, I have never used tempered glass since note 9.

Remove the fingerprint and register again after applying tempered glass . For more smooth operation, register same finger twice .

I have s23 having same issues. I registered my finger before applying tempered glass ,after tempered glass i face issues . However During registration a disclaimer by Samsung given ,which i attached below, Read 3rd point.

For better performance remove all saved fingerprint & do registered with new one . Also registered same finger 2 time & save both . It will work smooth. Also, if your tempered glass is thick then you have to apply little pressure on your finger to unlock . If still problem continue then remove tempered & use slim tempered or screen guard. Since, tempered glass only protect against scratches & normal fall . You can't 100% rely on tempered glass that it will protect your screen against any. So, after applying tempered glass you have to take care phone just like you would do if theres no tempered glass.

The temper glass may be thick.
You have to use thin glasses as it is ultrasonic scanner.
Then you have to again register fingerprint for smooth operation.
If agree then click 3 dots and accept the solution.

Add fingerprint
Then it work but accurate it take 2 try and press little
