Hey, why doesn't the S24 ultra have the VoNR option? Also, why does 5G change to 4G when the phone rings? Is there any solution for this?

Because only Jio currently supports VoNR and 5G switches to 4G when the phone rings. Due to the absence of VoNR, this issue does not occur with Jio.

I have VoNR enabled on Jio. But whenever a call comes, it switches to LTE.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the VoNR (Voice Over 5G) feature is supported by your device, as of now it is only working with Jio Network, and Airtel / VI has not been implemented yet. However, your network issue will be resolved after enabling the feature.

Kindly enable the setting by the below path:
Settings > Connection > Mobile Network > VoNR (Voice Over 5G)

Note: By default, this option will be off, so you have to on it manually. however, if still can't use kindly contact the network operator once, to make sure there is no issue from their end.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

Bcoz VoNR is not yet widely available in India on major operators. Also, bcoz till VoNR is not there, u get your voice calls as VoLTE(which means ur call is transferred as data instead of old 2G 3G tech) that's why u see logo changing to 4G or VoLTE.
