Recently i purchased the Samsung S23 base version and I'm loving it!!!

However, i don't see a VoLTE option in mobile networks page on my network settings. Tried rebooting, resetting SIM... Nothing worked. 5G automatically disconnects when I'm on a call.
I'm using Airtel.

Please help

You should contact Airtel and ask them to enable VoLTE on your number... or my suggestion would be to port to Jio because from my experience, only Jio provides true VoLTE services. I've had bad experiences with Airtel and Vodafone with respect to VoLTE.

1st of all VoNR(call over 5G- voice over new radio) is not officially launched by any Telco in India yet. It'll be in some time but till then whenever u receive a call, it'll jump back to VoLTE or 4G or 4G+ icon.
Another thing, u can keep mobile data on while calling so It'll remain on(only thing is It'll be on 4G). If u r using dual SIM then data will switch to the sim card on which u have received the call for VoLTE purpose and then again it'll switch back to that sim.
Volte option is there in settings->connection->mobile network, u can select 4G from there.
However there's one bug which I've experienced. I'm using Airtel(sim 1) and Jio(sim 2). If I set data on 4G on both, and keep data on Jio, then it switches back to 5G on it's own whenever it finds 5G coverage and as a result it changes mobile network settings on both the SIMs as shown in the attached screen shot.Screenshot_20230702_140218_Call settings.jpg
