Galaxy STo address the issue of distorted audio or messages being sent without voice, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Open the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store.
Search for WhatsApp and ensure you have the latest version installed.
- Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp.
Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.
Test in Safe Mode:
- To determine if a third-party app is causing the issue, boot your device into Safe Mode:
Press and hold the Power button.
Tap and hold Power Off until you see the Safe Mode prompt.
Confirm and allow the device to restart in Safe Mode.
Test sending voice notes while in Safe Mode. If the issue is resolved, a third-party app may be causing the problem.
- Ensure that WhatsApp has permission to access your microphone:
Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions.
- Test the microphone by recording a voice note or using another voice recording app to verify it’s working correctly.
- A simple restart may resolve temporary issues. Hold down the Power button and select Restart.
- Reinstall WhatsApp from the Google Play Store.
