I am facing several issues that I have encountered with my S23 after the recent 6.1.1 update.

1. The quality of the camera, especially the selfie camera, has noticeably declined.
2. The device fails to charge while in use, even when connected to a power source.

If you are also experiencing these issues, please upvote this. If you are experiencing other issues after this update, please comment here and I will add them to this list. In this way, the Samsung team can be made aware of the problems and provide a better update.

You can report me for sure. However, if you keep behaving this way and can't take constructive feedback then people will start reporting your profile for sure. Just a tag of an expert doesn't make you an expert, please try to be one and don't spam all the posts with useless suggestions.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Galaxy device camera issue: we'd request you to follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Check physical condition of your camera lens.
Broken camera lens>> Scratchy camera lens.
Note: Please check there is no laminated or tempered glass pasted on camera.
Use a microfiber cloth or a cleaning wipe. Gently remove the fingerprint, dirt and dust from the camera lens.

Reset camera settings:
From the home screen tap on Camera>>Tap on Settings>>Scroll up and tap on Reset settings>> Tap on Reset.

Galaxy device charging issue: we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Use a ''Genuine Samsung charger'' with your device
If you are using non-genuine Samsung charger, check device charging by using another Samsung genuine charger. (If available)
Note: We always recommend to use genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

Check physical condition of USB cable
Check your charging cable (USB cable) for physical damage such as wear and tear, bent prongs etc. If it is damaged, then kindly visit your nearest service center to get it replaced.

Check charger functionality
Request you to check the charger functionality with a different device or try to charge the same device with a different charger.

If different device charging with the same charger:
It seems your charger is functioning, before getting into the mobile-related troubleshooting, I would like to know whether you are using a Samsung approved charger?
Note: We recommend our customers to use only Samsung approved chargers, as 3rd party chargers with different output rating may cause errors in the device.

If the device charging with different charger:
It seems there is an issue with your charger, kindly check the physical condition of your charger for any damage.
If damage: Issue might be because of the damage hence we request you to visit Samsung service center to get it replaced (Warranty not applicable).
If not damage: As we have tried with all possible troubleshooting and issue has not been resolved. I request you to visit the nearby service center along with your mobile and charger for a detailed inspection.

Check charging
If rating is 15W or above: Kindly try to charge the device in a non-inverter socket.
If you are using normal socket: As a safety measure Fast charging may not support, while you are using the device hence, request you to keep the device idle and check the charging performance.
Note: Kindly open Device care from settings > Battery > Please tap on three dots (more option) at the top right hand side > please select settings > enable fast cable charging.
For Android 11: Kindly open Device care from settings > tap on Battery > tap on More battery settings > Fast charging > Turn on.

Charge the device in switch off condition
Kindly follow the standard charging procedure. i.e; please charge the device in switch off condition for a minimum of 10 minutes.
If not resolved: (Removable battery) – Kindly remove the back panel of your device and check the physical condition (Bulge, Swelling or visible damage).
If the physical condition is not good: Request you to turn off the device immediately and please do not try to charge or tamper the battery also request you to visit the service center immediately.

Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.
Turn off unused functions like Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth & Location settings when not using them.
Please follow the below steps:
Step1: On the home screen swipe down the notification panel.
Step2: Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other connectivity features when not using them.

Close background running apps
''Multiple applications'' are running in the background of the device?
When running multiple applications, the processor processes more tasks and as a result, additional heat is released from the device. This happens with most electronic devices (even computers/laptops), including the devices of other manufacturers. Close all the background running apps when not using them.

Avoid usage of mobile phone during charging
Usage of the mobile phone when charging may cause slow charging issue. So we recommend you to avoid the usage of the mobile phone while charging.

Update device software (If Software update available): https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

In case the issue still occurs, please register your concern in the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

1. Camera Issue - No broken lenses or scratches, no external camera guard. Already reset camera settings. It's an issue with One UI 6.1.1.

2. Using a genuine Samsung charger. Purchased 2 months ago. No wear and tear on the cable. It's the heating and draining issue came with One UI 6.1.1.

You can see the posts available in the community. Everyone is facing the same issues.

How can I transfer my work credentials since they are locked to my device? I have to transfer my credentials to another device first and then format it. Otherwise, all data will be lost, and I won't be able to log in again.
So, is there any solution if I format my device or visit a nearby service center?

its disgusting day by day....its not only for samsung users only...The whole Phone industry is going on this trend...to degrade various functions with updates......

by this way the company will be benefited on 2 ways..

1 ) Forced the premium S serigs users to upgrade on their new devices...
2 ) keeping the same quality on next latest models and degrading the older ones with updates actually create many differences automatically..with out any R& D improvement or innovation...

This should be stopped or some day when each and every one will understand it...then a joint movement will automatically arises to boycott Smartphone brands..

Phone industry need to understand that each of us money has value...its not possible for each and everyone to switch to different S serigs phones on 2 to 3 years durations..
