Dear Samsung,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service regarding the green line issue on my Samsung Galaxy S22 plus mobile phone.

I am facing this issue once i have updated the phone to DECEMBER SECURITY PATCH LEVEL.

I have been using this device since 2022 and there have been no issues until this December software update happened.

When i did some online research i got to know several s22 and s22+ users are facing this problem post the December update.

I connected with Customer service. They denied for free replacement and stated around 15k will be charged for the screen replacement. They told like currently they only have option to change the display for S21 series and S22 ultra as a free service having beyond warranty which is quite disappointing given the significant investment made in purchasing this flagship model. Why not for S22 plus which also a flagship having the same green line issue.

I even visited service center today for assistance and got to know a new update that now Samsung is now considering s22 device free screen replacement after reviewing the genuine concerns from several s22 users, hence in coming weeks hopefully Samsung will consider the problem that s22 plus users facing and will add the model for free screen replacement policy.

Please look into the matter and resolve the issue nd prove that Samsung really cares of their customers!! I am hear to stay with Samsung eco system but not with this kind of service.

Get your phone physically inspected by service center and get a confirmation that no physical damage is present. If everything is good proceed for other help options like writing to CEO or National consumer helpline in India.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Yes , we need to highlight the issue on social platforms to get the attention from Samsung that yes users are really facing the issue and perhaps they might consider the device models for screen replacement which happened from buggy software update. Now they are considering s22 model for free screen replacement in coming weeks hopefully s22plus also will be considered for that we need to highlight the issue on our devices hope for the best
