Issue Type: Data missing after moving from Secure Folder to Private Album

Device: Galaxy S25 Ultra (India variant)

Software: One UI 8.0 (latest build)

Description:

After updating to One UI 8, I used the new Private Album feature in Gallery.

I selected some videos inside my Secure Folder and chose “Move to Private Album.”

The transfer started but after completion, the files disappeared — they are not visible in Gallery,private album, Secure Folder, My Files, or any file explorer app.

I have confirmed that:

The files are not deleted manually.

“Private Album” and “Secure Folder” storage sizes changed slightly, which means the data might still exist inside encrypted storage.

This issue appeared only after moving between Secure Folder → Private Album on One UI 8.

Request:

Please escalate this as a data-loss / Knox container reindex issue.

I request the use of Knox Data Recovery Tool or Private Album reindex procedure to safely recover the missing encrypted files.

Please do not factory reset or wipe Secure Folder; I only need the files recovered or the private-album vault re-mounted

Can you check one thing:
1)Move data out of secure folder in gallery and
2)then move it to private album? Does this also create the issue?

no then everything is fine...issue only when we move anything into private album in secure folder

Am also facing the same problem here i had lost my pirvate data i am also can't find them in my whole phone i tried everything find every single folder but it's vanished. I didn't notice my storage limit before this incident happend thats why i didn't remembered that. That's why am sure that if my files still in my phone or not. Plz reply me and help me.

I am also having the exact same problem, but not in the secure folder but in the normal gallery. I have reported the error to Samsung and will see if I get any correct response or not.
