Galaxy S
I am very disappointed and somewhat shocked to see that samsung has removed so many useful and awesome features from their galaxy phones over the years that were so good, I am today going to talk about the top 3 that I used alot on my old Galaxy A50s that are not available on s20 fe One ui 5.1
Clipboard button- the galaxy a50s had an option to open up Samsung clipboard directly from the typing cursor even when using third party keyboards, I loved that cuz samsung keyboard is great and I love the customisation and the clipboard but the autocorrect and speed just feels interior to Gboard for now so I can't completely switch to samsung keyboard but they don't have this feature anymore (I just realised that while typing in samsung members community post the cursor has the button but it doesn't do anything)
Dedicated fingerprint- the old a50s also had a feature in its secure folder called "dedicated fingerprint" and it was awesome which allowed me to make sure that only select fingerprints can be used to unlock secure folder, which helped me to let my friends have their fingerprint on my phone registered (in case they need to use my phone anytime) while still keeping my secure folder private to me.
Quick Notification category removal- now I don't know the official name of this feature but it allowed you to disable the category of a notification just by holding the notification on the a50s, while if I do the same on my s20fe it just makes me either disabled all notifications or I have to go to app settings> notifications> categories and then find what category it could be (which most apps label as something useful to make sure we don't disable their marketing notifications
I would love to know if there's any way to use them on one ui 5.1 or to port them/get them in one ui 5.1 that I am missing and I would also request samsung to consider adding these because those features were absolute beast and just made everyday tasks so convenient
