I purchased a brand new samsung galaxy s24 ultra through Amazon but it's used

Actually it delivered today and when I boot the device for the first time then it doesn't showed the welcome interface also it has not asked me to setup the device as new device does, it opened like it is used and powered off and I just restarted it, also when I matched the device manufacturing date and serial number then it's doesn't match and says it's refurbished, I checked through phone info application, what are your views please help me.

I had a similar experience when i purchased s22 ultra thro samsung shop app. When i opened the box and boot the device it straight away go to home screen. When i called samsung eshop customer service, they simply denied for replacement. I went to service and asked. Fortunately i had the delivery sms which was delivery at 4:30 pm 23 march 2022 and the phone activated 4 days before. I told that this phone is already a used phone. After showing evidence they provided replacement device

All online sellers are fraud including samsung eshop

when open box delivery.. why don't u check whether the device after switching it ON.

Lot of suppliers are opening the box & activating the device as they get ₹15,000 and so on upgrade bonus. It isn't a used device, it is just an activated device so sellers can avail and pass on the offers to end users.

If the device is purchased from main Samsung distributor then they don't need to open the box to avail upgrade bonus offers.

If the device is purchased through sub dealers then they need to open the box and insert the sim of the mobile number used for upgrade offer.
