A few hours before I made this post the camera worked completely fine, but all of a sudden the camera screen just either goes black and eventually shows a "WARNING, Camera Failed" error, or it just cuts straight to saying the "WARNING, Camera Failed" error instantly. I've tried a whole, whole lot of things, like clearing cache, clearing data, resetting settings of the Camera app, going into the recovery menu and clearing system cache, and even resetting my entire phone with all my data just to try and get this to work, yet, no resolution was in sight, the same error, every time. I really need help with this, as I cannot submit my assignments on time without a camera to take a picture of it. Thank you for your help.

Try with some other Camera app from play store. If it still doesn't work then probably it's a hardware issue.

Definitely it's hardware issue then. Go to service center and get it replaced.

This happened with me as well but on a different phone....I went to service center and they asked me replace the camera... but as your phone is under warranty they will not charge you for anything unless it was an external damage.
