I have recently downloaded June security patch update on my Samsung s23.
However after reading lots of commnets from users about the Green/Pink line issues after installing the updates...!
I do not want to proceed further with the updates installation.

Please help me with the process that how can I delete the updates I have downloaded already.

Thanks!

Once a security patch update is installed on a Samsung device, it cannot be directly deleted or uninstalled. The update becomes part of the system software, and there's no built-in feature to revert to a previous version or remove it.

However, you can try the following to potentially mitigate issues caused by the update or prevent future updates:

1. Clearing Cache and Data of the "Software Update" App:

Go to Settings > Apps > Software Update (you might need to enable "Show system apps" in the app list settings to find it).Tap on Software Update and then "Clear data" and "Clear cache".This may remove downloaded update files and reset update-related settings, potentially reducing prompts to install the update.

2. Disabling Auto-Update:

Go to Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.

Uncheck "Download updates automatically" or similar options to prevent future automatic updates.

3. Consider a Factory Reset (Use with Caution):

A factory reset will erase all data on your phone, including apps and settings. It will return your phone to its original software version, but this is not a direct uninstall of the update. If you choose this route, ensure you back up your important data first.

4. Developer Options:

Enable Developer options by tapping the build number in "About phone" seven times. In Developer options, you can find options to disable auto-updates.

Important Considerations:

Reverting to a previous software version after an update is generally not possible without using specialized tools and potentially voiding your warranty.

Security updates are crucial for protecting your device from vulnerabilities, so it's generally recommended to keep your software up to date.

If you are experiencing issues after an update, it's best to contact Samsung support for assistance or consult with a knowledgeable forum like XDA Developers.

If this helped you then please accept this as a solution.....

Peopel have contacted 1000 times to Samsung.
Samsung is **bleep** up... No support for green/pink line issues mainly occur after the software updates that too with Flagship devices.
