How can I fix lens shifting while recording video when zooming in?

When I record a video and try to zoom in—especially at 3x—the camera automatically switches to the telephoto lens. This sudden shift causes a noticeable jump, making the video look choppy or less smooth. I'm looking for a way to avoid this lens-switching issue or at least make the transition smoother during zoom. Any settings or tips to maintain a consistent lens while recording would really help.
