How Many Times Should I Pay for the Same Issue?

Green line issue again. Second time. No physical damage. Went to the service centre — no discussion, no help — just ₹10,900 to replace the display and wait for days. This already happened before. Same issue, same device, same outcome: customer pays again. This is not normal wear & tear. This is a repeating problem. If I pay now, what’s the guarantee it won’t come back again? Am I supposed to keep paying every time this happens just because of a “3-year policy”? That’s not support. That’s shifting responsibility. Samsung should seriously rethink this — because this is not what loyal customers expect.

I’m honestly confused. On messages, Samsung says one thing, but on calls, they say something different.

I already visited the service centre this Friday, created a job sheet, and even emailed them with all details — but I haven’t received any reply yet.

At the service centre, I was told that the green line issue might be related to the battery, which I replaced recently. If that’s the case, why should I have to pay around ₹11,000 for a display replacement?

This is not the first time I’m facing this issue. Every time a green line appears, I’m expected to pay again. And there’s no guarantee it won’t happen again in the future.

I think Samsung really needs to reconsider their policy and focus more on customer experience. Issues like this should be handled with a free replacement as a goodwill gesture.

Received an official response from Samsung stating my device is “out of warranty” and quoting ₹11,957 for display replacement.

However:
●The issue (pink/green line) appeared post software update
●This is a known issue affecting multiple users
●No external damage involved

This clearly raises concerns under consumer protection laws, as defects triggered by updates should not be charged to customers.1776264748545.jpg
