Galaxy SDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.
● Is your device constantly searching for Wi-Fi networks?
Note: Make sure Wi-Fi is turned ON. You can also pull down in the middle of the screen to refresh and try searching again.
Path: Settings>Connections> Wi-Fi.
1. Please make sure your router is on, and showing that it's connected to the internet.
2. Disconnect other connected devices from the router and check.
3. Try to connect another device to the same router.
4. Kindly ''Restart'' the Wi-Fi router and again connect the device with ''Wi-Fi router''.
Note: If you're having trouble with your router, or don't know your Wi-Fi network name & password; please contact your Internet Service Provider.
● You can try a simple isolation test with your Wi-Fi network by removing all other devices from the network and trying to add your mobile device first, before adding back in the rest of the devices normally connected.
If you're having trouble with your router created by mobile, please allow all devices to connect and unhide the network.
● For Allow device: Settings>Connections>Mobile hotspot & Tethering>Mobile hotspot>More/three dots> Allow device.
To Unhide the network: Settings>Connections>Mobile hotspot & Tethering>Mobile hotspot>More/three dots>Configure hotspot>Uncheck hide my device.
● Reset network settings: Settings> General Management> Reset> Reset Network Setting.
● Check flight Mode: → Kindly check and disable the flight mode on your device.
→ Check flight Mode by swiping down the notification panel on your device with two fingers to access all of the quick settings.
→ Find the flight mode option and turn it off.
● Kindly turn off the power saving mode from the setting or notification panel and check.
● You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.
Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.
