In my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the phone overheats and the battery drains very quickly whenever I use Instagram, after the May 2025 patch update.
After that,
I saw a community post about a heating issue with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The person thoroughly analyzed it and found that the latest version of Instagram was the cause. They uninstalled the app and reinstalled an older version of Instagram, resolving the heating and excessive battery drain. I also installed the older version(april one); it is now fine. I am attaching two screenshots of battery usage with the latest and an older version of Instagram. Just check the screen on time and battery consumption of the instagram. Please escalate this issue and optimize the OS regarding the latest app updates that are receiving issues.

Normally, I don't install APKs from sites unless I downloaded only popular apps like those from APKMirror and Uptodown, which are comparatively safe.
