I personally confirmed from service centre and customer care executieves that samsung green line free solution is officially now extended to july 2026 

I had replaced my samsung s22 green line display yeastersay (12 Jan 2026) 

Whoever facing green line issue visit service centre and definetly get solution

3 yr limit has to be there ..
Phone was released in 2022...just a few month older than 3 yr and u wont get that free replacement is a stupid policy

Is it safe to do software update after the screen replacement? Or it will appear again on the new screen?

I enquired the same from service centre and customer care team they told me that to dont update it is possible to happen green line again and this time samsung will not give you free replacement

I got green line issue again on my galaxy s21fe exynos version.
Actually the display was changed by the Samsung Service centre but within 1 year I got again green line issue without any external damage.
When I visited service centre they denied to replace my display.
Its a huge same for Samsung which is not providing or taking any action for customers, Like Oneplus has provided lifetime screen replacement
Then why Samsung is not doing it.
I will never gonna purchase any Samsung phones ever.
It was my huge mistake
