Hello, I have a samsung gakaxy S20+ model. Today morning, on 28th July, 2023 out of nowhere a green line popped up on my screen without any physical damage to my phone. I have never dropped my phone or there is no other physical damage, infact I always keep my phone in the samsung flip cover which provides good protection. I went to the service center and they brought this to my notice that this defect is due to software update and this needs display replacement. They asked me to pay 22,000 INR for the replacement. Why should I pay for samsung's fault. They also told me that they are providing free display replacement but only for the phone's bought in the same country. Since my phone was bought in the USA and I'm currently in India, they refused me to provide the free display replacement. I would like to request that they provide me free display replacement in India since there is issue with this green line in S20+ worldwide. It is a huge disappointment for such an expensive phone.
