Green line issue after UI 6.1 patch may

After the update got this green line

I updated the april month security patch. From that my phone is unusually getting heated up and i cant even hold it also it got the screen unresponsivenes. I reported to service center and was said to factory reset my phone. After factory reset it was working quiet well . I got UI6.1 update in may and after that i started facing the heating issue. Its unusually getting heated a lot. Then by yesterday (5/june/2024) i got a security patch update and updated it. Now my phone is getting extremely heated and i got the green line on my screen. I reported this in service centre and they are telling me there is no such issue reprted yet so we cant give you free replacement as your phone is in out of warrenty period. This is completely the company's fault. They are responsible and why am i not getting the required service as I paid for the mobile. Also im fearing that my mobile would burst out of heating. If anything happens samsung is solely responsible for my life! I need attention for this issue looking for a solution. Kindly help me!

I haven't updated my phone because it's a common problem my friends mobile also got green line issue but the service centre said to pay 1,260 charges as their fee and they gave him new display . Because he had samsung warranty insurance 1717668837389.jpg

1260 is too much for a service charge.. it should be somewhere between 200-300

Bro it depends on the state and location . The rates varies region to region and his samsung was non Indian model . He buyed from another country

Oh.. maybe.. I did not know that.. bcoz I got my s22+ serviced at 236INR out of warranty

I am also Indian bro just when we got for trip we purchased foreign model to see if there's any difference and it costs cheap price then our india

Bro Before paying your was Indian model so you should have right to get free display replacement . Bcuz till April 30 their scheme was for free display replacement. You might have just asked them if it was still available .

They greenline issue appeared on my phone on 28 May. The service center people where good enough to atleast acknowledge that a month back they were replacing for free.. but after that they do not have any written official communication from the head office if they are allowed to do so or not. They said if the higher authority tells us to so we will do it no question asked

But the important question is that Samsung should not give any deadline date for this issue. Why deadline . This issue can happen anytime when the user gets the Update notification

Yes bro you are correct it can appear anytime in the update ,they must not close their free screen plan. This is not any defect it has became their business . First one plus started this green line so their customer buy their new phones then apple copied to make green screen to sell their 15 and 14 series . And now it's our Samsung time to do this stuffs . First time it was just in one brand but later how 🤔 can the same problem happen in all companies think a little ...
