Green line came after update on my samsung s23 ultra..this is not expected from atleast such flagship phone....my phone is in super condition no scratches ,not even fallen down ever...why gave such rubbish updates ..Very poor experience i need solution...

Same thing happened with a frds s23 ultra day before yesterday, he visited the service center yesterday and they told him ' its not due to software update, but you might have damaged the phone somehow'. Firstly even his phone was without any dents and scratches hence no damage. Secondly he updated to the latest july 2025 security patch day before yesterday. What seems to be the issue is clearly software update! My friend had to pay ₹20k for screen replacement.

Your friend shouldn't have listened to them. I got green line after one Ui 7 update. I got my screen replaced for free. But it is a pain process. You need to keep on calling or contact via WhatsApp chat and ask whoever is chatting to escalate the matter to higher officials. You'll start the chat with an executive, then next would be supervisor and both will reply the same saying "its out of warranty and as per the information we have you would have to pay and replace the screen". You say fine, amd tell them please connect me to your higher supervisor which he'll not agree to at first and keep diverting you by repeating the same above statement. Sometimes they are so lazy(or may be they are tired of complaints, not sure here) that they just copy paste stuff and not have proper conversation. Just make sure whether you call or chat dont end until they escalate the matter.

Told him to complain @samsung but he needed the phone for his official purpose., hence he couldnt wait. Since then I have been sharing the issue here and also on twitter as well so that some resolution can be provided by samsung

I too use the phone 50 - 60% of the time for official use. I had one single green line so I could use it until this matter got escalated and was brought to a resolution. I saw many people with S23 U, Flip phones and couple with A series with this green lines issues while I was there at service center.

Abhi Kal mail aaya or mujhe bola ki bill ka pic mail pr Dal do ap ke case ko aage forward Kiya jaega to Maine Dal diya mujhe phone kr ke bolte Hai jis name se bill Hai usi bande ka I'd proof chahiye Sala preshan ho gya mere pass samsung s23 plus Hai

Ek baar woh escalate ho gaya toh shayad mil jayega. Pareshaan toh woh log karenge he. Free jo replacement dena pad raha hai unko. Mere saath bhi aise he hua. Mujhe bahut peeche jaana pada sirf matter escalate karne me 🤦
Uske baad 3 din me ho gaya resolve. Phone mere naam pe he tha, mujhse ID proof wagera nahi maanga
