Google play services battery drain

Google play services are killing my battery life since update. Tried uninstalling updates and rebooting my phone, but no help

Google play services is for the security for our Android device against malware activities by some suspicious apps, and it keeps our device upto date.
Remember that the more apps we have on our device, the more Google Play Services will be running in the background...
So I recommend you to put apps in deep sleep which is not used by you or uninstall heavy background running apps...
And regularly update Google play services by going About phone > Software information > Google play system update in Settings.
