Galaxy SHi,
I am looking to get a Samsung galaxy s24 base model from the UAE to India and will be traveling abroad also soon for higher studies.
Hence, the dilemma. What is the difference between the UAE version and the International version ? And are there any drawbacks apart from the obvious warranty related issues ?
Any insights from anybody who have used either could be helpful !
Thanks !

Galaxy S1) No Warranty - You have mentioned it already but that's reason I will suggest you to get S23 Ultra as it's cheaper and has almost 95% of things which S24 Ultra offers.
2) Samsung Pay/Wllet will not be India specific, UPI support may not be there. Also you may not be able to add Indian cards. Please note that I have Indian S23 and I am able to add UAE cards in wallet.
3) 5G support with Indian Operators like Airtel, Jio. I have heard that it works but please cross check.
There are youtube videos from one knowledgeable person which are good to get your doubts cleared.

Galaxy SWe appreciate your interest in purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and want to provide you with important information to help clarify your doubts.
Firstly, it's essential to note that Samsung does not produce or sell an "International" version of its devices. Each device is manufactured with specific technical specifications, firmware, software, and applications tailored to meet the requirements of different regions. Therefore, there is no distinct "Middle East" or "International" version of Samsung devices.
Secondly, regarding warranty coverage, Samsung supports local warranties specific to each region. If you purchase a device in the UAE, it will be covered under warranty within the UAE only. Warranty coverage does not extend to other countries. Additionally, compatibility and support for certain applications may vary between regions. For example, while the Samsung Health app may be available in the UAE, it may not be supported in other GCC countries.
We hope this information helps clarify your doubts.
