I live in north side of India, and the summer has arrived. My S24's heating issue while using camera is a major concern. Whenever I open the camera app it starts heating up, and temperature goes above 40° always. It'll deplete the battery life for sure, so I think company should stick with Snapdragon atleast for all flagships. We spent our hard earned money on these flagships. Company's more profit policy due to house grown chipset take heavy toll on user experience. I always been a Samsung user since Note 1, may be I need to think about alternates now.

What's the other S24 user's experience regarding this problem ?

Stop 5g and switch to 60hz, turn off AOD or keep in when notification arrives

LoL, I don't use 5G most of the time, AOD is always off. Most of the time, it is on power saving mode after 50% battery. So what's the point of spending 70k on very basic 10k features.

Me too, I fell in the same trap of 7 yrs update.
I don't think this puny S24 can survive more than 3 yrs due to the excessive heat. Some day, it'll explode 🤯

why? you shouldn't do all that. I paid for a phone and I want that phone to be on 5g at 120hz with AOD On, and I expect the phone to function normal. If that's not the case is because Samsung is cutting corners damaging user experience just to lower cost of producing the phone.

We are the ones affected. Why i need to put up with an inferior CPU when  I could have the Snapdragon 8 gen 3? because I live in Australia?

Most of people walk into the shop buying a Samsung S24 plus whitout not knowing whats inside!, but I do know!!!!! now, i thought i was getting the sanpdragon because when I checked the ultra i read it comes with the snapdragron and I automatically thought that all s24 phones will have it too.

My mistake i bought it assuming it will have it too.

I so regreting buying this **bleep** phone.

You are totally right, samsung is doing all these things to reduce cost and heating issue is not there only with samsung. It comes with almost all android because there are lots of processor, and lots of skin. Unlike an Iphone where they can focus to optimise thier software, android companies are into co.oeting business and they just do gimmick to sell thier phone without proper optimization

Its totally your fault. Why you buy exynos phone? People who buys exynos are motivation of samsung to bring inferior chip for the flagship price.

I checked the ultra first, i read the specs here in Australia, was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, i thought great, we are getting this in Australia.

I thought the phone was way too big and too heavy for me, so I said I am getting the S24 plus, so that's what i did, thinking it would also have the snapdragon.

Stupid me I didnt double check before buying it.

But again, not fair paying the same amount for a different phone, an inferior phone
