Hi Samsung Community,

I’m writing as a long-time Samsung customer facing a frustrating issue with my Galaxy S22 Plus (SM-S906E). Recently, a green line appeared on the display without any physical damage to the phone. I contacted Samsung Bangladesh regarding this issue, as I was promised a 3-year screen replacement service at the time of purchase for such defects. However, Samsung Bangladesh is now denying this promise and informing me that I will have to cover the repair costs.

This issue is clearly due to a manufacturing or software defect, and as a loyal customer who has invested in many Samsung products over the years (smartphones, TVs, home appliances, etc.), this response has been very disappointing.

I strongly believe Samsung should honor the promise made to its customers and provide a free screen replacement. I am requesting executive-level support to resolve this matter and would appreciate any assistance from the community or Samsung representatives.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Update: Successful Resolution Achieved – Sharing My Journey

I’m thrilled to share that the green line issue on my Galaxy S22+ has been resolved, and I received a free screen replacement from Samsung Bangladesh. Here’s a brief overview of my experience:

1. Identifying the Issue: My Galaxy S22+ developed green lines without any physical damage. I reached out to Samsung's customer support and service center.

2. Persistent Communication: After initial responses stating no offers were available, I kept following up via email, phone, and even escalated the matter by requesting clarity on policy differences between Bangladesh and other regions.

3. Escalation and Approval: Samsung Bangladesh eventually agreed to provide a free replacement after understanding the situation and reviewing the global acknowledgment of this issue.

4. Waiting Period: Although it took about 50 days for the part to arrive, the support team kept me updated, and finally, I got the service I was hoping for.

Key Takeaway: Persistence and clear communication were crucial. Thanks to the Samsung support team for addressing the issue and ensuring customer satisfaction in the end.

To anyone facing a similar problem, don’t lose hope. Be patient, communicate your concerns effectively, and trust the process.

Hi vaiya, I'm having the same issue with my S22+. This is an official device, purchased about two years ago. I contacted Samsung customer care, and they refused to provide a free replacement. Would you be kind enough to share some information with me?
