Galaxy SI bought Samsung S10 Lite in February 2020 and 2 days ago the device suddenly stopped Fast charging support. I use the original Samsung charger provided with the handset. Also, USB cable devices and Headsets when connected to the C type port is not getting detected easily. Have to try 3-4 times for these devices to get detected. This seems a common problem and the fix is to replace the USB port.
The repair will take 2-3 hours normally. But when I visited the Samsung Service Center in my place (Malabar Communications, Kasaragod), they want me to submit my phone for repair and will get it repaired only after 3 days. They want me to submit the phone and only then they will order the spare part which takes 2 more days to come. That will make me live without phone for 3 days which will affect my job activities on those days. I requested them to order the spare part and allow me to submit the phone only after the part arrives which will take only 2-3 hours out of my time. But they say, thats not the norm in Samsung Service Centers. Why cant samsung provide faster service and repair by eliminating extra idle time? Or else, provide a better repair option or a store where the spare part is in stock.
