Galaxy SHere's a rewritten version of your message in a friendly and approachable tone:
Hi everyone,
I've been using the Samsung S23 Ultra for about 1 year and 5 months, and overall, it's been a fantastic experience. However, I recently ran into an issue with the fingerprint sensor that I need some help with.
When I first got the phone, I applied a glass screen protector from Samsung Care. The fingerprint sensor worked perfectly, even up until a few months ago. But after that, it started having issues, so I switched to another screen lock method.
Today, I replaced the screen protector and was able to set up the fingerprint sensor smoothly again. But soon after, I kept getting a message saying, "Fingerprint sensor not working. If this keeps happening, restart your phone."
Here’s what I’ve tried so far to fix it:
- Restarted the phone multiple times – didn’t work.
- Reset the Accessibility settings (based on a suggestion I found in the Samsung Community) – didn’t work.
- Reset the phone settings – didn’t work.
- Wiped the cache partition – still didn’t work.
One thing to note: I installed the latest software update (security patch) on January 17, 2025.
Has anyone else faced this issue? I’d really appreciate it if you could share any suggestions or solutions to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance for your help!
