Fast Charging Solution

I think Fast charging depends on the temperature of your phone.

✔️ When I charge my phone at high temperature, It takes more than 2 hrs to fully charge from 0% to 100% but
✔️ When I charge my phone in cool temperature, it takes only around 100 minutes to fully charge from 0% to 100%. I don't know about others but It works atleast in my case.

✅Try to prevent your phone from overheating while charging, maintain cool temperature of your room (where you charge your phone) and Cool Down Your Phone.

✅Li-ion batteries offer reasonably good charging performance at cooler temperatures and allow fast-charging in cool temperature.

Please try this and let me know if it works for you too😊

🔶 Update (2022) : Just use/buy new charging cable. It'll solve all problems related to the fast charging.. 💯

Thanks for being with Samsung .We would like to inform you that as we know during wireless charging or fast charging, the device may feel hotter and this is normal range of operation which does not affect the device’s lifespan/ performance. If the battery temperature goes beyond specified limit, the charger may stop charging the device and start charging again once temperature goes down up to the normal temperature (e.g. 36ºC) and this is only a precautionary action for customer safety. This mode is called as “Swelling Prevention Mode”

EXPLAIN THIS!!! My phone was at 5% battery. I put it for charging WITH FAST CHARGING ENABLED at 6:30am sharp. Estimated time was 1 hour and 20min. I checked my phone again at 7:27am sharp. It showed 60% but estimated time disappeared. I removed charger and plugged in again and now it said 50min to full charge. Again I checked my phone at 8:20am sharp and now it showed 85% and again there was no estimated time. Again I removed my charger and plugged in again and now it shows 30min.

s8 will take 100 minutes in power off mode.. roughly the same with airplane mode.. but otherwise if screen is on or being used or may be heating up..then takes longer times.. A test by CNET told if screen is always on, it took 3 hrs+ like usual slow charge and not fast. But these are all safety features we should appreciate!
