Does camera lens required for s23 ultra?

I have recently purchased glaxy s23 ultra and wanted to know dpes it os required to use camera lens/protector for the camera? If yes, then already user cna suggest the brand of the camera leans and also state does ir affect the camera or picture quality?

Definitely the pictures qualified will be reduced and also possible more lens flare
