I am using my this s21 Ultra 5G for few days. I have purchased it few days ago from someone else. it was completely fine until I have upgraded it to Android 14. the issue I am facing is when I lock my phone using the lock button, it supposed to lock my screen and get to the always on display, right?
but actually this is not happening rather my screen turns black and it does not take to the always on display. the screen stays at a workable condition but it turns completely black. I can sense the screen is working by the haptic feedbacks. I can even use the fingerprint unlocking also. and it works completely fine it unlock my screen but screen stays black. at that point if I again lock my device using the power key then it become alright and gets back to the always on display. and then the phone become normal and I can use the phone completely fine. now if I go to lock my screen again after few time same issue occur and I have to go through the same process to get the screen turn on from that black stage. I have boooted my phone to the safe mode so that I can find out if there is any third party apps which is causing this. but the same problem is happening in the safe mode also. that means either it has any software issue or any hardware issue, right? how can I solve this problem? cause it is very irritating to use the phone in this manner. my phone also have very much accidental touch issues even though the accidental touch protection is on. this black screen is causing me very much waste of time and my User experience is getting hampered. sometimes I have to do some important works and I need my phone and that screen become completely dark and black. I can't use my phone in this way. moreover the proximity sensor of the phone is taking too much time to work. when I attend a call and get the screen to my ear the screen become black. when I put the phone back to my hand from the ear it supposed to turn on the screen. but the screen does not turn on sometimes. and if it turns on, it takes too much time to turn on. for example 4 to 5 seconds. this is not supposed to happen, right? this all issues are hampering my user experience of this Galaxy s21 Ultra 5g device.

please provide me a fix for these issues.

Wait for the next update to get it fixed or you can perform a factory reset. Before performing a factory reset you can actually use samsung cloud to temporarily backup for 30 days everything. It might help in fixing these bugs

Take it to service center and if your phone is under warranty. They charge you only for limited things and if your phone is out of warranty you will have to pay for everything out of your pocket
