I'm sharing my disappointment with the recent Galaxy S25 series launch, especially the S25 ultra. I had high hopes for this release, and I'll be discussing certain features on recent devices.
Things which I am extremely dissatisfied with your year-on-year launch
1. Every year flagship phone like s and note starting from 2019 onwards, first we lost iris scanner on s10 and note 10 devices along with removal of SD card slot in note 10 base model and headphone jacks in both note 10 and note 10 plus devices.

2. In note 10 series we lost hr monitor on the back of the phone no don't tell me it was the gimmick if it was gimmick then why the h you introduce in s5 which was launched way back in 2014 / 15 ( sorry if I got the date and year wrong) why continued that feature for nearly 5 years and then removed it in note 10 devices

3. Iris scanner why introduce iris scanner in note 7, s8 note 8 and s9 and note 9 devices when you all planned it to discontinue in the 2019 devices

4. Removal of SD card slot in s6 which was failed attempt then release in s7 and continued till 2020 flagship models like s20 and note 20

5. Removal of MST was also not justified at all though in today's standard we don't need it anymore but is good to have that feature when NFC based payment system failed

6. Removal of air actions why introduce it was back in note 9 devices and continued till s24 ultra if your plan was to discontinue it then why even bother to introduce that Bluetooth spen in the first place

7. Removal of hp jack was inevitable but why mock apple to not having hp jack and same goes with charger in the box

8. Now with s25 ultra you also took away the iconic boxy design as well

9. Curved screen when you knew that curved was fragile then why you Samsung people went for it

10. Then you removed the note devices and merged with s series, and now you are at the verge of removing the spen

11. Then you removed the DEX function for windows and macOS

Guys let me know what all fan favorite features I am missing add it in the comment section I will edit the post as well.

But Samsung I want to tell you something that if you are not sure about the permanent or retaining features then never introduce them in the first

Why downgrade flagship device year-on-year

I am sorry to say that being a Samsung user for a long time, I am extremely disappointed with the current state of Removal of fan favorite features.

Let me tell you Samsung if you never were so sure about the features never introduce them in the first place

Removing the spen Bluetooth function did hit hard in my heart after the Removal of iris scanner and heart rate

I won't be surprised if you will remove the spen as well

Tell me Samsung how it is justified to us consumers who are paying a hefty amount for the flagship device, yet we are getting less and less feature year-on-year launches of device how should I as consumer justified to pay over, 150000

Only to get less and less features every year

Guys, please copy and paste this post and add what ever you feel about this Removal of features

It's a huge disappointment, they should've kept it, it was not causing any harm to anyone's device even if it wasn't used by many. But the bunch of people who really used it were the real fans of the Note series and the new gen Ultra series, the pen was the whole purpose for them to get a Note or an Ultra phone

Exactly, the spen had the BT function for a YEARS but it didn't bugged them then, why now all of a sudden when their accessories have a magnet in them for wireless charging. They only want to milk out money from people buying those cases and cut the cost of BT from the pen

My spen still works like a charm i have s24 ultra with all the Bluetooth fuction on and I use mag safe things yet i face no problem and now all of sudden why

Samsung is walking on the steps of Apple now, just a few years late. Same old design that debuted in S22 Ultra. It got refined in S23 Ultra and post that it's just lazy thinking.
One of the main highlight of an Ultra is the S Pen and they just made it a useless stick with capability to just draw and that's it.
I really enjoyed the Pen during any group trips coz we didn't need someone to take group pictures, I could do it with just my Pen.
All the features will anyway come to the S24 Ultra then why bother buying a 25.

They did the same thing with the Fold series. The Fold 6 is exactly same as 5 which was same as 4 which was same as 3. And after just 2 months they bring Special Edition in China which looked like an upgrade but I guess the world doesn't deserve it.

They added S secure to some devices and now discontinued


They added Private files options during note 5 in which we can keep private files without moving it to secure folder and but that was removed


Creating GIf from the video is now more difficult than before , unnecessary steps added


Samsung Introduced Second space with android 14 with beta but later on removed


Samsung' s own video player discontinued ..now if anybody want a video player he has to 3rd party apps becoming product for the ads


Edge Panels are removed with One UI 7
