Hello guys,
In some few days i have seen many reviews across different platforms about the problems users are facing after updating to ONE UI 6.0 like OLED screen burn in, green lines, animation lag, calling issue, battery health degrading, etc.
Currently my S22 is on One Ui 5.1, is very stable, what is your opinion should i update to 6.0 that these issues are exceptional cases or not to update and stay at 5.1

On your own risk...
If you have snapdragon then you may face dead pixel problem.

I would suggest you to stay on 5.1 until there is update of 6.1 (after release of s24 series, update may probably come around April-May24)

Yeah but sometimes the damage is already done, and reaching out to customer support to fix that is a nuisance and potentially a cause of spending money to fix it, such might be the case when upgrading to one ui 6 and getting screen burn ins.

These responses or assurances don't really help much when proofs of the opposite exists in the wild, and following your advice may as well put our devices at risk, further cost us to spend real money to get fixed.

I understand why companies want its users to be on the latest versions, but come on now.

I am specifically talking about the screen burn in issue that affects all one ui 6 installs.
