Hi Samsung Community,

I recently switched from an iPhone to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, mainly attracted by the camera capabilities. However, within just two months of purchase, I'm facing a serious camera flickering issue.

I have already submitted multiple feedback reports, including error logs via the Samsung Members app, but I haven't received any response yet. It's disappointing, especially considering the S25 Ultra is Samsung’s flagship device.

I chose Samsung expecting top-notch performance and support, but this experience has been very frustrating.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? I would really appreciate guidance from the community or a direct response from Samsung on how this is being addressed.

Details:

  • Device: Galaxy S25 Ultra
  • Issue: Camera flickering while zooming out from 1x to 0.6x
  • Software Version attached.
  • Troubleshooting Done: Submitted error logs, cleared cache, restarted device, etc.

Looking forward to a resolution soon.

Thanks,
Praveen

Well that's just the camera sensor changing from 0.6 to 1. Since both these sensors are located in different areas it looks like that. Apple does this smarty. When switching between camera sensors it creates this smoothing effect. Your phone is all good, it's just Samsung hasn't added the animation for the switching. It actually happens is a lot of android phones since most manufacturers don't bother to add this animation. Considering it's Samsung, they'll probably add this, eventually.

Following a service center visit, I was informed that the issue stems from a software bug requiring a Samsung software update.

I lost the trust on this brand. There is no use of 7 years of OS updates when the phone hardware couldn't survive 2 months since its flagship launch. I rejected the repairs option to replace faulty camera unit after service center performed full diagnostics and reinstalled OS and still could not solve the problem.

Samsung has to release official statement about this and recall the hardware defect devices. Repairs is not the way to suffer through a flagship phone.

Absolutely true. I switched from apple to Samsung just looking at the camera and performance capabilities. Now the issue is with both battery and camera. 100% full charge does not even last for 5 hours.

Samsung has to resolve these issues and replace these devices.
