Hello,

Model details of my phone are as follows:

  • AP: S928BXXU3AXH7
  • CP: S928BXXU3AXH7
  • CSC: S928BOWO3AXH7
  • Model: SM-S2928B/DS

I’m unable to use Samsung Pay and wanted to confirm whether my device is compatible with Indian services, or if there’s something I need to change.

Earlier, when I was trying to shift my WhatsApp data from iPhone 13 Pro to my new S24 Ultra, it was a challenge. Now, I’m facing an issue with receiving the WhatsApp verification code. It seems that my WhatsApp might be locked for a few hours from receiving the code. Both my Jio and Airtel SIMs appear to be working fine, though I recently transferred my Airtel ESim from my iPhone to a physical SIM, so I might need to wait until tomorrow to receive the WhatsApp verification code.

I suspect the delay in receiving the code might be because WhatsApp isn’t detecting the SIM. Do you think this is the issue?

Additionally, I received my S24 Ultra from the UAE (international version) three days ago. I’m based in India and not traveling. Transferring my WhatsApp data (around 33GB) from iPhone to Samsung through Smart Switch was failing multiple times. I even tried Dr. Fone, but that didn’t work either. After reducing the data to around 25GB, I tried Smart Switch again, and after several attempts, the data seemed to transfer successfully, as the phone’s memory usage increased and the process took about 2 hours.

Now, however, I think due to multiple attempts for WhatsApp verification, there’s a delay in receiving the code. I’ve now switched my ESim to a physical SIM and am waiting for it to activate to receive messages and calls. Do you think this will resolve the WhatsApp verification issue?

Finally, is there anything I need to change on my phone, considering it’s an international version, to make it compatible with services in India? Also, why is Samsung Pay not working?

Looking forward to your help!

Samsung Pay/Wallet works but Samsung Pay/Wallet UPI doesn't work in India. Because UPI is Indian payment System not international. I also have International version.

Check your CSC version  *#1234#  and install INS version and it will work fine with all the app working perfect.
