Bright bar on the left side of front camera

I am experiencing a bright bar on the left side of my front-facing camera and a bright light on the left side panel. I have tried resetting my phone and opening it in safe mode, but nothing helps. When I switch the display from 120 to 60Hz, the bright bar is removed. I bought this phone in October 2022. If a flagship phone doesn't last two years without issues, this is frustrating. Maybe it's time to consider moving away from Samsung.

You need to visit Samsung authorized service center immediately and tell them your problem. If your device don't have any physical damage and if it happened after software update then ask for free replacement. You should try.

Accept it as a solution if you like my solution.

Right I had the same problem, but solved by Samsung. Thanks to Samsung for free replacement. But first they will check for a physical inspection.

Today , I faced similar problem with my Samsung galaxy ultra . I called customer care and they asked me to visit the service center . The Service center representative told me that they have only provision to replace the screen if blue vertical lines appears on the screen not the bright bar which is appearing on the screen . The service center representative  asked me to contact customer care . When I called the customer care the representative spoke the same as the service center representative.

Yes its an issue faced by many users. Dont worry i will automatically disappears once your phone is updates once again. This worked for my friend so telling you but this is not guaranteed.

I last updated my S22 on 23/04/2024. After that I'm getting the same white light left side. At first it was flickering, then I switched to 60hz, now whenever my phone get switch on from off or sleep mode the same light flashes for a sec then vanishes. Its so annoying. This is non of the costumers mistake. And is after software update. This for sure from their side, Samsung.
And its not only Samsung, these guys knowingly giving this kind of software update. Which will affect the mobile software and hardware also.
IF we talk about this particular issue, it is purely due to software issue first, which start with flickering lights, you get to know, your mobile is now too much bright & Hot, meaning all the area the screen is flashing that area diods will get hoter and hoter , right? It will also drain your battery faster. As these didos flashing and so much bright it will sure damage some physical parts also because it's too hot than usual. When it get physical now Samsung will not accept anything physical.
Is issue is common problem with huge no. Of costumers.
And came after software update.
Now they samsung is doing it deliberately.
Now you will see some people having this issue during their warranty period, because if Samsung do it for all non warranty costumers then they will be 100% expose and it will be very hard for them to defend themselves.
They will surely ask for display replacement which will cost too much, even though they will do it free for in warranty costumers, they still having so much extra profit for the issues.
They call it flagship mobile, **bleep**, it's all about money only. Exploiting people.
AS SOME OF COUNTRY STRICKTLY ASKED APPLE FOR USB C PORTS ELSE IT WILL BE BAN IN THE COUNTRY.
EVERY COUNTRY SHOULD ALSO TAKE THIS AS SERIOUSLY
ANY THIS KIND OF SOFTWARE ISSUES WILL RECTIFIED/RESOLVED BY COMAPANY IMMEDIATELY WITH NO CHARGE FOR 5 YEARS FROM THE PURCHASE. OR ELSE COUNTRY MUST BAN THE COMPANY.
