Galaxy SDear Samsung Support Team,
I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with my Samsung Galaxy S23 running One UI 7.
After the update to One UI 7, I noticed that the Quick Panel no longer applies the expected blur effect behind the notification shade. Instead, the panel appears to directly reflect the color of the wallpaper, making it difficult to distinguish UI elements, especially with lighter or uniform wallpapers. This significantly affects the visibility and usability of the Quick Panel.
To confirm this issue is not universal, I compared the same wallpaper and settings on a Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the blur effect renders correctly on that device. It seems this problem is specific to the S23 (possibly other models too) and may be due to how the UI or system overlay handles transparency and blur on this device.
I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps:
• Changed wallpapers (darker, textured, and default ones)
• Turned off the color palette
• Restarted the device and cleared the cache partition
• Checked for available software updates
Unfortunately, the issue persists. I kindly request that your software team look into this and provide a resolution or patch in a future update. A setting to control blur transparency, or consistent blur rendering across devices, would greatly enhance the user experience.
Thank you for your attention and continued support. I look forward to your response.
