On my Samsung S25 Ultra, the "Block calls from unknown numbers" option isn't working properly. Even though it's enabled, I still receive calls from unknown numbers. I expected this feature to block promotional or spam calls, but it doesn’t seem to help at all. There's also another option called "Block all spam and scam calls," but that doesn’t work either.

no, truecaller is required

That's alternate option. But for some who don't have truecaller or don't want to use any other app.

unknown numbers are those like private numbers or don't hve caller id

Yes including promotional calls

but Samsung has no functionality to detect promotional calls, it use some third party but that is not efficient

Previously I am using this same function on my 5year old one plus device and it's works perfectly

Even one plus has one more feature that's help us to enable blocking feature according the SIM

If this option is not working kindly share the log file. Also, share video clips and images for better understanding. This will help us to further investigate and resolve this issue.

Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).

Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.
