This thing is munching on my battery it has consumed 1.1 percent how to prevent it's battery use by 0.9 percent

Not 0.1 , I wrote 1 percent the wake up and wake lock of Google play services consumed battery during idle time because the cpu is awake and processes are run to complete the task, thereby the actual power consumed is different... I noticed that when I go to device care to check the status of my battery since last charge it starts with 78 percent of juice till zero but I charge my phone till 80. I am thinking something is wrong with the battery callibration

If you want to prevent usage of your battery disable it

Once disabled, it won't allow me to run any google application
