Galaxy SMy Samsung was like that when I bought, slowly it optomized itself and I changed my usage patterns and it's better now.
But since you have last chance to replace it by today, so you shouldn't take the risk, replace it today.

Galaxy S1. Background Sync & Setup: Right after setup, the phone runs lots of updates, app syncing, indexing, etc., which drains battery fast.
2. AI & Learning Phase: Samsung phones (especially One UI) optimize battery based on your usage over time. It usually takes 7–10 days to stabilize.
3. High Refresh Rate: If the 120Hz display is on all the time, it consumes more power. You can switch to adaptive mode or 60Hz to save battery.
4. Battery Calibration: New batteries sometimes need 3–4 full charge-discharge cycles to perform at peak efficiency.
5. Check Rogue Apps: Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Usage to check if any app is draining power unusually.
If the battery still feels bad after 10 days with normal use (no gaming, overheating, etc.), then maybe a software update or service visit would help.
Among all these tips , the only thing i didnt do was completing the 100 % charge part 3,4 times. Till today i charged only once 100% . And kept the battery protection at maximum i,e 80%

Galaxy S3. I use 120 Hz most of the time. Doesn't make much difference.
5. You can't easily figure it out, rather put background restrictions.
