I updated my S23 Ultra to One UI 7 and the battery is draining like hell! Battery dropped by 3% while writing this post. I have already done the tips to optimise battery life. If I have to use the phone in base settings, then what is the point in using a flagship phone? Didn't have such an issue in One UI 6.1. This is a serious bug and Samsung has to release a patch fast to fix this, after proper testing of course.

They won't, they won't address the issues they'll simply just ignore because they do not care. Just a patch is being released worldwide with no bug fixes or anything. If someone is crazy rich they can use Samsung without much headache. Regular consumers and enthusiasts who are purchasing flagship Samsung as dream phone after years of dreams is like buying problems with more than a lakh rupees and suffering is the only thing we get.

Yes, many users have reported experiencing similar problems. This can be due to the phone re-optimizing itself after the update or apps needing to be optimized for the new firmware.
Add apps to the "deep sleep" list to prevent them from running in the background and draining battery.

Clear app cache to remove temporary data that can impact performance and battery usage.
Resetting battery statistics can sometimes help.

Adjust background usage limits in Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.

Choose options like "Put unused apps to sleep" or "Sleeping apps" to restrict background activity.

No point of saying. It's like these brands announces and promises lots of stuffs, but they fail to deliver. These are the problems when brand becomes globally so big and revenue driven that they do not care about QA before releasing any update. It's better to switch to new age companies like Nothing. They listen, they are hungry to get customers and currently operating on a small scale.
