My battery is draining like hell on my s10 plus after upgrading to Android 11 and UI 3.0.
Any idea how to fix?

Why would Samsung release a useless and clearly incomplete update to phones! 🤬

Possibly to 'encourage' you to buy the newest model!

If this is not fixed soon I will never, ever buy a Samsung product again!

We shall see...

If after update then wait for few days, and as of now perform these below steps;

A. Wipe Cache Partition.

Steps to perform.

1) Turn off the device.

(Connect with type C cable and connect withpc/laptop/type C earphone only for Android 11 )

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

B. Reset App Preferences.
Settings >Apps> Tap on Top Right 3Dots and select Reset App preferences.

C. Go to settings >general Management >reset>reset settings.

I tried all of the above steps and the battery drain is still there. I have to charge the phone two times in one day. At the exact same usage before the Android 11 update, I got about 30% left in the evening on one charge.

I contacted Samsung Members support and got an answer to factory reset my phone. If this doesn't work, take it to the nearest authorized service center.

This doesn't sound like Samsung even acknowledges this issue, let alone they are working on any fixes even though there are numerous reports of the issue, even articles written about it.
