After updating to ui 6.1, there was another update perhaps in March and the secure folder started working like before the ui 6.1 update. But since last month it is again not working. Same problem as earlier.

The sms verification failed issue still persists even after trying all the methods. Do you know anything that's working?

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that the UPI apps are not working in a secure folder as this is the concept in the new update. You have to use the UPI apps outside of the Secure Folder. However, we are taking your valuable feedback regarding this.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support

Then what is the use of secure folder? Your galaxy phone is like any other Android phone. So why one should buy Samsung? If you can't do it, it means your software updates have no meaning if this important issue cannot be resolved. People buy Samsung because of its Secure folder protection. I am not satisfied with your reply. If it goes like this it clearly shows you want people to shift to other brands. Pl ask your higher ups and reply to the community facing this problem.

I don't have the apps inside the secure folder. Even then, it isn't working. Could you suggest me a method that's working.

One suggestion to Samsung: if banking apps cannot be saved inside the secure folder, then please provide some separate app lock feature folder with encryption/decryption settings where such apps can be stored and used. Moreover, give a feature with a passcode of at least 6 or more characters for this app lock folder which must include at least one each case sensitive and special characters. This will be a very good feature in Samsung mobiles and will be liked by the community. Please provide it in the next update if secure folder cannot be used for banking apps due to sms verification failure problem.

Samsung please advise as to how banking apps can be kept safe in a galaxy phone after ui 6.1 update. Your Secure folder is useless as it doesn't allow banking apps inside due to sms verification failure. Please suggest some other solution for keeping such apps safe and protected.
