I am getting maximum brightness while in sunlight. My 1000nits secondary phone is getting more bright in direct sunlight.

Is there any option to manually set max brightness. At least 1500 nits, the sensor used in s24 ultra is too week to handle the situation. If its a software glitch please fix it.

Peak brightness is only for the hdr videos peak brightness cannot be achived on direct sunlight max it will go for 1200 to 1500 max only when you are inside and watching videos on youtube then only peak brightness will trigger other wise in day to day use you will only get 1200 to 1500 max
It cannot be fixed with software update the light sensor is designed like this man it can only get 1500 nit max under direct sunlight other wise it will cause display burns
