I found Android auto does not connect seamlessly to the car audio. I have to restart the device to connect to Car audio. Previously I was using iPhone and I did not face this kind of issue single time entire the tenure. I feel there is some issue with Android auto.

Please check for any updates of related applications (Google) with Android Auto.
The initial connection setting can only be used when the car is parked, this is the concept of Google Android Auto for safety.
After the initial connection, you can use Android Auto while driving.
If the connection is not established properly via Bluetooth you may face issues while using Android Auto.
As Android Auto can be connected via USB cable as well and the connection method may differ by car and its manufacturer, it’s necessary to confirm the proper connection method for your car with a car manufacturer.
The USB cables approved by Samsung are compatible with Android Auto.
However, all USB cables may not be compatible when a car, even if it’s approved by Samsung.
Additionally, we recommend using a shorter USB cable than 1m.
Kindly share the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
I tried using original Samsung cable and faced the same issue. Just for troubleshooting I used my old iPhone with apple car play for atleast one week and did not face this issue not even single time.
