I recently bought a Samsung S23 FE, and I'm experiencing an issue where the phone freezes after being in my pocket for a while. It shows the accidental touch protection message, and I can't lift the accidental lock. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work during this time, and the overall phone touch seems to freeze. It only starts working again after 5-10 minutes. For context, my pant pocket is loose, so the phone tends to move around a lot.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your inquiry, we would like to inform you that it is not an issue or bug of devices that, when the screen comes into contact with clothes or skin and accidental touch protection is enabled on the device, this may lead to certain actions happening automatically. Similarly, if the fingerprint sensor comes into contact with anything unauthorized, it may temporarily fail to recognize the authorized touch but will resume normal functionality after a few minutes.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
